La Plataforma de Maricel

OK, mejor dicho, es bueno volver a casa. Hace aproximadamente cuatro años decidí que ya que me gusta escribir, era una buena idea tener un blog.  Claro, iba a ser super fácil e iba a fluir naturalmente. ¿Qué creen?  No fue así y no es así.  Sin embargo, mi necesidad de expresarme por escrito siempre está presente y no lo puedo dejar más así.  Excusas miles hay.  No hay tiempo es la mejor para este tema y para muchos otros.  Sin embargo, por lo menos en mi caso es la falta de disciplina, compromiso y organización. Suficiente queja por el momento, hasta yo misma me aburrí.  Hora de retomar esfuerzos para lograr metas y sobre todo, disfrutar esto que nos gusta tanto. Prometo estar presente tanto por los que me leen como por mi misma con los temas que saben me apasionan.  Dénme chance de meterle al diseño...pero no quería dilatar más volver al ruedo. ¡Qué rico reencontrarnos!

Este fin de semana los temas de oficina, se quedaron en la oficina....fue la Convención de Medio Año de la familia Plataforma.  A pesar que estamos muchas horas juntos en el trabajo, no es lo mismo que compartir un tiempo de verdadera camaradería, sin fechas de entrega ni maratones telefónicos.  Amamos nuestro trabajo y lo hacemos con pasión, igual que nos apoyamos unos a otros para servir a nuestros clientes como parte de nuestra familia, de la cual también forman parte. This weekend the office matters stayed at the office...it was the Plataforma's family Midterm Meeting.  Even though we share countless hours at our workplace, it can't be compared to being together  at such a relaxing evironment, with no deadlines nor rush phone calls.  We love what we do and we put every ounce of passion we have on it with one goal, serve our clients as they are members of our family too.

Otra vez me perdi y otra vez volvi. Hace dias queria escribir de los famosos "dias de...". TODOS los dias son dias de algo. El medio ambiente, la tierra, los oceanos...el locutor, la enfermera, el maestro, el niño, el huevo, la leche, la toalla....no existe un dia que no sea de nada!!! Estoy de acuerdo con que todas las razones por las cuales se designa un dia son totalmente validas. Todas las dedicatorias, importantes. Pero si todos los dias son celebracion ni les ponemos atencion, no? Then again I got lost and then again I am back. Since a while I've been wanting to write about the famous "days of...". EVERYDAY is the day of something (at least in Panama). The enviroment, the earth, the oceans...the teacher, the nurse, children's....the egg, the milk, the towel...there is not a day that doesn't belong to something!!! I agree with al the reasons why a day is designated to some celebration. Every asingment important and relevant. But if everyday...

Tribal....handcrafted....I am so into it right now!!! also vintage jewelry, just recently opened my "time vault" and took out some outstanding earrings...that will show you later. Changing the subject...based on a recent conversation with a colleage...what are the client expectations of their PR agency and/or their partners, executives, etc....of course, above the professional relationship and the fulfilment of their goals. We don't have magic powers (although I'd love to be Hermione Granger!, think I'm like her in some / various issues...) but we are tenacious, consistent, focused, strong willed (did I said tenacious?) But what I think is the MOST important issue is that we have to accomplish a TEAM ENSAMBLE with our clients. We should work together to succeed, we MUST work together to succeed.  We can't exist apart from each other.
